Limited Pleasure Use
Our Limited Pleasure Use plan is designed for all makes and models of classic and new Ferrari cars, regardless of the automobile’s age.
Our Select plans, which include our additional Special Coverage, offer superior coverage to standard insurance policies and are much less restrictive than typical “never-leave-it-unattended” policies for collector cars.
Multicar discounts are also available, regardless of which Select plan you choose.
Plan Warranties
The Select-insured automobile must be used mainly for Club activities and personal pleasure drives. Reasonable care should always be taken when leaving the vehicle unattended.
- Annual Mileage: Annual mileage may not exceed policy option selected (2,500 or 5,000 annual miles).
- Normal Driving: Plan does not cover automobile while driving to and from work or school.
- Racing & Track Events: Plan does not cover automobile while being used for racing, gymkhanas, driving school, instructional course or other track events.
- Business Use: Plan does not cover automobile while being used for any business or commercial use.
- Coverage Suspension: All policy coverage is annual and may not be suspended in whole or in part.
- Parking: The Select-insured automobile must ordinarily be parked overnight in a completely enclosed, locked garage accessible only to the policy holder and immediate household members. Should the regular garage location of the automobile change, coverage at the new garage location is only afforded after review and express written approval by Leland West. Should the Select-insured automobile be left at another location for sale, consignment, restoration or customization, no coverage is afforded.
- Alterations: Complete details of any modification or customization to the Select-insured automobile must be submitted along with the completed Select application.
Exceeding Annual Mileage Limits
Annual mileage limits are reported and reviewed. If the annual mileage limit of the policy is exceeded, the policy may be non-renewed. However, if the mileage limit overage is reasonable, other options may be available.
